How do I evaluate my language level?

In order to apply to university, to expatriate to Quebec, or to become a French citizen, you may need to validate your level of French. In order toevaluate your level of French, tests and diplomas have been developed that allow candidates to be positioned on one of the six levels of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

The institute is an approved center for the Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF ) for its learners and for people who have signed the Contrat d'Intégration Républicaine - CIR (OFII) .

The TCF IRN is an official certification that you can use when applying for a 10-year resident's card or for French nationality.

Get your certificate

5 days after your TCF exam, we will send you an e-mail to your e-mail address. The message will contain the link to download your TCF certificate. The format will be PDF. We will keep it for 2 years. The DELF

The Lille Institute can also help you take the DELF in the city of AMIENS where a certified training center exists.

The DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) is an official diploma issued by the French Ministry of Education. It is recognized throughout the world and is valid for life.
